Note AI helps you notice what matters in your notes. It does not replace your judgement.
Decision support, not decisions
Note AI uses artificial intelligence algorithms which may occasionally produce inaccuracies (hallucinations). The application is strictly a decision support tool. You should check important results before acting on them.
What can go wrong
- A task can be missed if it is phrased unusually, or something can be flagged as a task when it is not.
- Dates can be misread: “03/04” means 3 April in India and the UK but March 4 in the US. The free tool lets you choose the format; always check it.
- Relative dates such as “next Friday” are worked out from today's date on your device.
- Amounts of money can be assigned to the wrong category (to collect, to pay, or budget), or a currency can be misread.
- Owners are guessed from names in the sentence and may be wrong when several people are mentioned.
- In the full app, AI summaries, OCR of photos and PDFs, and contact or CRM mapping can contain errors.
How the free Action Item Extractor works
The free tool uses deterministic rules that run in your browser. It does not use a language model and does not send your text anywhere. That makes it private and predictable, but it still cannot understand context the way a person does.
No professional advice
Nothing produced by Note AI or published on this site is legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice. Financial figures extracted from notes are for your organisation only and are not accounting records.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on output without checking it. The full terms, including what the law does not let us exclude, are in our terms of service.
Report a problem
If the tool gets something consistently wrong, email a short, non-confidential example to hello@notesai.me. It is the fastest way to improve it.
