1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and Kartikeya Mishra, operating as Note AI, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India(“Note AI”, “we”, “us”). They cover the website notesai.me, the free tools and templates, the invite-only beta and the Note AI mobile and web apps (together, the “Services”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services.

3. AI is decision support, not a decision maker

Note AI uses automated processing and artificial intelligence algorithms, including pattern matching, optical character recognition and large language models. These can occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete or invented results (sometimes called “hallucinations”), misread dates, amounts or names, or miss items entirely.

The Services are strictly a decision support tool. You are responsible for reviewing every summary, extracted task, date, amount, contact and CRM mapping before relying on it, and for decisions you make using it. The Services do not provide legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice. See our AI disclaimer.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Note AI, its owner and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity or missed deadlines, arising from your use of or reliance on AI-generated summaries, OCR extractions, CRM mapping or any other output of the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or INR 5,000 (or its equivalent in your currency).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country (for example the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India, or consumer law in the EU and UK).

5. Your indemnity

If you are using the Services for business purposes, you agree to indemnify Note AI against third-party claims arising from content you upload in breach of these terms or of someone else's rights, or from your misuse of the Services.

6. Intellectual property

All source code, software, user interface and user experience designs, algorithms, prompt logic, models configuration, branding, text, templates and graphics of the Services are the exclusive intellectual property of Note AI or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services as intended. You may copy our published templates for your own use.

You retain ownership of the raw data you input (your notes, files and recordings) and of the results generated from them for you. You give us only the limited permission needed to process that data to provide the Services to you. We do not use your private content to train AI models.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
• reverse engineer, scrape, copy or resell the Services except as allowed by law;
• attempt to breach security, overload the Services, or submit the waitlist form using automated means;
• use the Services to send spam or harass anyone;
• click on ads on this site for any reason other than genuine interest, or encourage others to do so.

8. Beta, availability and changes

The beta is invitation-only and provided “as is” for testing. Features may change or be removed, and we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation.

9. Paid plans

If we introduce paid plans, prices, billing periods and taxes will be shown before you pay. Payments will be processed by licensed payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.

10. Third-party services and ads

The Services may show ads and link to third-party sites and app stores. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, without taking away any mandatory protection or right to bring proceedings in your own country that consumer law gives you. 13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users before they take effect.
